Nadia has been adopted! 11-12-2011
Nadia is doing wonderful in her foster home. She does amazing with young children. She had even claimed her spot to sleep in her four-legged foster brothers bedroom. She does not need a crate, she will sleep all night uninterupted. She can be left alone inside as well and wont have an accident or chew anything. She loves infants as well. She has most of her commands down. Heel, sit, down, sit stay, down stay, and leave it. Nadia prefers males dogs or submissive females as she prefers to be the lady in charge. She is learning to live with small animals, while she doesn't show aggression, she does get very excited and could be misconstrued for aggression. She is being taught that small animals aren't all that exciting. She loves toys, but isn't too big on fetching. She loves to be loved and has a ton of love to give back. She adjusted into her foster home in a short of amount of time and is all about pleasing her humans.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
