Denali has been adopted! 09-23-2011
Denali has her whole life ahead of her. She is just a baby - she is now in a rescue kennel where she gets lots & lots of play time with other dogs and volunteers get her out for walks every day. Denali, like her sister Sitka, will do best going to a home with a slightly older confident dog to continue to help model proper canine behavior. Update 5/15/11
Denali came to us scared and frightened of her own shadow. She now plays in play groups and goes for walks with her handlers. The only thing missing now is a home! Denali would love nothing more than to have a pack of her own---a home with another dog or two! She is submissive and easy going and gets along with all other animals.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
