Gracie has been adopted! 07-09-2011
Gracie's shelter picture showed a momma dog laying in a cage with 10 tiny pups. The look on her face was one of despair and gloom. We raced to find a foster home who would care for Gracie and her family while she nursed the pups. The day we picked up Gracie and her litter, the look on her face changed to joy and happiness. Gracie is a delight to be around and a very bright girl! She has raised her 10 babies and they are just about ready to be adopted. Gracie has done her work, now she is ready to be adopted as well! At about 60 lbs, Gracie is a perfect medium sized girl. She has the brindle markings of a dutch shepherd and the shape of a Belgian shepherd. All make for a very smart, well rounded shepherd!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
