Joey has been adopted! 05-14-2011

Male about 0 old.

At 6 - 7 years old, Joey originally lost the only home he has ever known his whole life when his owner passed away suddenly. Having been raised with children, Joey also loves kids.

He is currently residing at a boarding/training camp in Covina. The trainer says Joey is an easy dog who loves all people. His size should not be a deterrent. He does well on a leash and with basic obedience. He gets along with some other dogs. He is a beautiful purebred with floppy ears. His ears are a part of his charming personality. He is housebroken and takes direction very easily.

For such a big fella, Joey walks easily by your side on a leash, is terrific in the car, and is responsive to direction of any sort- he needs little to no persuasion, although a yummy treat doesn't hurt!

Can you find the room in your heart to include this big boy?

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
