Keaton has been adopted! 03-05-2011
Keaton has striking looks and a personality to match. He seems to know that he was rescued at the very last minute and is ever so grateful! Keaton rode with a young, scared shepherd and kissed his face to try and calm him down. Steady and loyal define this beautiful boy. He displays all of the wonderful characteristic we look for in a German Shepherd. He is about 4 years old and will make an adopter very very lucky! This middle aged guy is an absolute sweetheart! He currently resides with a gal his age and they are completely smitten with each other. Keaton came to us skinny and sick but is looking better every day and is a healthy guy. He has no issues with other dogs and will run and play with all who are around him. Very mellow and full of love to give, he longs for a forever home with a soft bed and a family to love.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
