Squirt has been adopted! 09-22-2010

Meet Squirt! Squirt is our recent stowaway---an Aussie mix masquerading as a German Shepherd. Squirt was tucked away in a dark kennel at a very high kill animal shelter and listed as a German Shepherd Dog. When we got her out of the kennel, we found a wiggly, waggly, happy as can be.....australian shepherd mix. Knowing that Squirt was going to be euthanized that very day and seeing how happy and loving she was, we could not put her back in that kennel only to be killed hours later. So, Squirt is a Coastal German Shepherd Rescue dog now! She is a darling girl regardless of what breed she is and she has a zest for life. She wears a smile as big as her face and greets all with a complete body wag! Squirt is also doggy and kid friendly. An all around GREAT family dog.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
