Reya has been adopted! 11-09-2007
Reya will be on the petite side, full grown she will probably be around 55 pounds. She is not a bossy dog at all, she will get along with any dog. Reya was found as a stray, she waited for 7 days at the shelter, and for 7 long days she waited in her kennel before she could see the outside world again. For 7 long days, all she did was live in a 7x8 cell, she ate there, did her “business” there, no walks allowed, no playing with other dogs nothing whatsoever. The 7th day came and she was happy as a clam. Reya will be thrilled to be in a home with another playmate, she would be thrilled to use your lap as a place to “hang out” at . . . Reya is a very well adjusted girl with a ton of love to give. Once you meet her, Reya will steal your heart.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
