Thumper has been adopted! 01-01-2005
Information from Thumper's current owners, who've had him from the age of four weeks: We have 2 cats and Thumper never bothers them. Thumper is very cautious of strangers. Children make him a little nervous and he is very active he may jump on them while playing. Thumper is well trained and an excellent watch dog to have. He sleeps in our garage or his dog house and in our home, especially during the July 4th with fireworks. We would love Thumper to be in a home with someone who is willing to spend time with him and wants a great companion. He is up to date with all shots and has been neutered. He has never been sick and never been diagnosed with a disease. He is healthy and strong.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
He is quite smart and he knows and obeys commands. He will wait until a count to 3 before he comes after a command to sit. I can say 1.2.4.12.9 then when I say the magic word of 3 he comes to me. Thumper loves to fetch and play catch balls or toys. Thumper will actually sit and swing with us on our patio swing when we say up Thumper. He loves attention and loves to take walks.
