Beau has been adopted! 10-18-2005

Beau is a lap dog extraordinaire! A big bubba of a boy, he likes nothing more than to lay on top of you and get belly rubs and head scratches. He is a wonderful boy with a beautiful disposition and he LOVES everything and everyone. Beau was rescued with Riley after languishing in a high kill shelter waiting for his family to reclaim him. We think he might be a bit younger than Riley, perhaps around 2.

For his big boy size, Beau is easy to walk and he will do whatever you ask him to do! He is just in it to get attention, love and a forever family!

Beau tells us that his ideal home would include Riley, but we think he will do just fine going to a home with another dog or to one where he gets to participate in daily activities.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
