Kaylee has been adopted! 10-19-2013
Kaylee is a genuinely pure and gentle soul who is best suited for home with another dog. This lovely 2-3 yr old girl is roughly 50 pounds of quiet affection. She gathers her strength by being with you and knowing she is safe. She is very puppy like, but is not destructive. She loves to run around outside and play with any dog that will play back. Tug of war is her favorite game.
Kaylee is currently very shy of humans, and any introduction should be given ample time to allow her to become comfortable with a prospective adopter. Once she is comfortable, she will shower you with affection. This precious little girl hasn't had much training, yet she manages to do well on a walk. She is completely house broken and is not a barker. She is very submissive to all animals, and loves to play with the little ones the best. Currently she is in a foster home with Parrots and all size dogs, and she gets along with everyone. She doesn't know her commands, but she appears to be smart enough to learn just about anything in short order. Kaylee is a success story waiting to be written. Gotta' a pen handy?
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
