Dudley has been adopted! 06-04-2016

Male German Shepherd Dog about 6-9 years old. Gets along with other dogs.

Dudley landed at the shelter with a Cocker Spaniel who was his best friend. Their owner never came for them, so the shelter put them up for adoption and his best buddy found a home, but the new family left Dudley behind. This sweet boy sat and cried every day in his run, waiting for his friend to come back or for his owner to find him, but neither happened and he found himself on the euthanasia list. We couldn't let him go out like that, so we rescued him and promised to find him his happily ever after!

He's a very personable and friendly boy, loving to spend time with the people he's meeting. He's great on a leash and would make any family really proud to call him their own.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
