Kobi has been adopted! 06-12-2016
Kobi is a 5-year-old male Chocolate Labrador Retriever who was turned in to us overweight and covered in fleas. It was evident that his previous owners left him in the backyard and didn't give him the time, attention or love that he deserves. Kobi loves giving affection almost as much as he loves receiving it. He's happy just snuggling into your lap and kissing you all over. His favorite part of the day is going for his walk- he loves romping through the grass and smelling all of the new smells.
Being that he was in a backyard for the majority of his life, he didn't have very good manners when he arrived, but he is being trained on a daily basis and learning very quickly! He is under socialized with other dogs: he's not aggressive, is currently being socialized, and we feel that one day he will be able to live with other dogs. He's now been around a few other dogs (some much smaller than himself) and has done just fine. Kobi truly is a one in a million boy and he would love to complete your family!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
