Jesse has been adopted! 12-22-2016

Male German Shepherd Dog /Labrador Retriever mix about 4-6 months old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Meet Jesse. His mom was a German Shepherd and his dad was a German Shepherd with a little Lab thrown in there. He is about 4 months old.

Jesse is a typical, happy, active little boy who loves to play and cuddle. He is very social and loves people and other dogs. Jesse is very smart and eager to learn. He is crate trained and is housebroken. He lives in a house with three older dogs who taught Jessie how to be a good boy and be social. He also has some cat brothers and sisters and Jessie is great around them.

What makes Jesse so special is he is an Albino, which is really rare to see. While he is mostly the same as other puppies, he has sensitive skin and eyes so his new family will have to take a few extra precautions to insure that he doesn't get sunburned and his eyes don't get damaged. Sunscreen and doggie goggles will help protect his sensitive skin if he is outside in bright sunlight. Jesse's foster dad bought Jesse his first pair of "doggles". Doesn't he look sharp in them!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
